The College was established in 2009 wit the objective to provide trained technical manpower to rapidly expanding Pharmaceutical Industry in the region and to carry out research in advanced areas of Pharmaceutical sciences. In KCOP, learning is not just a series of instructions but a passion which goes beyond books, instructions and learning horizons. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, Government of Punjab & affiliated Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Dr. Ravi Dhawan is the Director-Principal of the college. The institute offered Bachelor of Pharmacy (4 Year), D.Pharmacy (2 Year), M. Pharmacy (2 Year) in P'ceutical Chemistry, P'cology, P'ceutics, P'ceutical Analysis, Bachelor Of Medical Laboratory Sciences ( BMLS of 3 Years) & Diploma n Medical Laboratory Sciences ( DMLT of 3 Years) Courses. The College provides course work & Research facilities for PhD students.

    Khalsa College of Pharmacy Offers Post Graduation in following Four Streams.

    Duration                : 2 Year
    Eligibility Criteria : As per IKG PTU
                                     A candidate seeking admission to M.Pharmacy program must have passed    
                                     B.Pharmacy examination with 55% marks in aggregate for general (50% for 
                                     SC/ST candidate) from any UGC approved University or PCI and AICTE
                                     approved institution.

    Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy)

    Duration                : 4 Year
    Eligibility Criteria: As per IKG PTU
                                     A candidate seeking admission to B. Pharmacy program must have passed    
                                     10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along 
                                     with one of the Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology subjects from any  
                                     board recognized by any state or central government. The candidate should 
                                     have obtained at least 45% marks (PCB/PCM) in general category and at least 
                                     40% marks (PCM/PCB) in reserved category.

    Admission to Direct B.Pharmacy 2nd Year (Lateral Entry)

    Duration                : 3 Year
    Eligibility Criteria: As per IKG PTU
                                     A candidate seeking admission to B. Pharmacy 2nd year must have passed
                                     D. Pharmacy course with at least 45% marks for general category and 40%   
    marks in case of SC/ST category from any recognized State Board.

    Diploma of Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy)

    Duration                : 2 Year
    Eligibility Criteria: As per PSBTE & IT.
    A candidate seeking admission to D. Pharmacy program must have passed    
                                     10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along 
                                     with one of the Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology subjects from any  
                                     board recognized by any state or central government. The candidate should 
                                     have obtained at least 45% marks (PCB/PCM) in general category and at least 
                                     40% marks (PCM/PCB) in reserved category.
